Shaynita Blanchard
Women's Soccer
Blanchard scored four goals during a 1-0-1 week for the women's soccer team. She scored a goal during Lincoln's 2-2 tie against Valley Forge Christian College. Blanchard also notched her first career hat-trick during the Lady Lions' 7-2 victory over College of St. Elizabeth's Saturday afternoon. That victory helped Lincoln tie a school record for wins in a season with four. Blanchard has scored seven goals this season and has 14 for her career. Blanchard's hat-trick also helped the Lady Lions establish a school record for goals in a season with 28. The women's soccer team visits Columbia Union on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. and Nyack College on Saturday at 11:30 a.m.  
Daron Jones
Football
Jones was named Lincoln's MVP of the Fifth Annual Prince George's Classic following the LIons' 28-2 loss to Bowie State. Jones finished with a game-high and career-high 14 tackles. Four of Jones' tackles went for losses. Jones is third on the Lions in tackles with 39. Lincoln travels to Virginia Union Saturday afternoon for a 1:30 p.m. kickoff.
